Below describes my process of establishing illustration commissions, from payment to completion.
The process for film and editing projects will be similar, but more tailored to the project.

Below describes my process of establishing commissions, from payment to completion. We discuss the scope of the project. In which I would need :

Subject Matter

Style of Illustration. Providing me with references is greatly encouraged.

Use of custom built 3d models or purchased models, royalty free
Pricing
All transactions will be done through paypal with 50% of the money paid upfront and 50% paid on completion.
Prices are as follows:

Single subject matter, illustration for purchased 3d model is typically 150 USD. But this also depends on the type of 3d model used. Price may vary depending on client needs and can be discussed.

Single subject matter, illustration with a custom built 3d model, 350 USD. If client wants a download of the 3d custom built 3d model, that would be an additional 50 USD.

Multiple subject matter, typically 100-150 USD per additional subject.
Progress updates and Timeframe:
I will provide the client with progress updates and a timeframe for completion.

For example, in a 1.5 week project, I will provide initial concept thumbnails within 3 business days of signing the contract.

After client critique, it will take me 3-4 days to provide an 1) initial render.

And after that critique I will provide the finished illustration.

These times can be negotiated for longer projects and will be established in the contract.
Contracts:
All issues discussed will be entailed in a contract. Work will not officially begin until:

The contract is signed.

50% upfront payment is provided.

Additionally, the contract will include appropriate copyright and distribution clauses depending on subject matter. I refuse to infringe copyright.
